Dr Feelgood + Eddie & The Hot Rods + John Otway + The Members + Wendy May’s Locomotion + Deejay Wheelie-Bag – Margate Winter Gardens, Saturday 13 May, 2017

All acts will play their full sets. Real ales and food will be available. Ticket-holders will be wrist-banded, to allow for free access in and out of the venue.

The Main Hall at Margate Winter Gardens was opened in 1911 and is decorated in the Greco-Roman style that was popular in those heady days before World War I. Legendary acts who have appeared on the same stage include Anna Pavlova, The Beatles, and Laurel & Hardy.

Come down to beautiful Margate and spend a day — or a weekend — by the Trendy Seaside. Attractions nearby include Turner Contemporary gallery, The Shell Grotto, numerous bars and restaurants, the newly restored Dreamland, and the best beaches in England. Ramsgate and Broadstairs are a short bus ride away (The Loop runs every 7 minutes in both directions!) For more information about Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs, CLICK HERE.

Three fans of good music having a great time in Margate (it’s hard not to!)

Doors open at 4:30pm, and headline acts will be finished by 9:45pm, to allow those who want to catch the last trains towards London (via Canterbury West, Ashford International, Ebbsfleet International, Faversham, Rochester, Chatham, Bromley South, and Stratford International) to do so. The rest of us can party on with rather fine live music from the excellent Members.

Plenty of hotel rooms at all prices are available within easy travelling distance of the venue:  click here.

Watch this space for more details of Margate Rock & Blues 2017, as fringe events and other surprises are announced!
