Margate Rock & Blues 2016
Really Live Music presents…
The Main Hall at Margate Winter Gardens was opened in 1911 and is decorated in the Greco-Roman style that was popular in those heady days before World War I. Legendary acts who have appeared on the same stage include Anna Pavlova, The Beatles, and Laurel & Hardy.
Come down to beautiful Margate and spend a day — or a weekend — by the Trendy Seaside. Attractions nearby include Turner Contemporary gallery, The Shell Grotto, numerous bars and restaurants, the newly restored Dreamland, and the best beaches in England. Doors open at 3:30pm, and Buzzcocks will be off stage by 9:45pm, to allow those who want to catch the last trains towards London (via Canterbury West, Ashford International, Ebbsfleet International, Faversham, Rochester, Chatham, Bromley South, and Stratford International) to do so. The rest of us can party on with the rather fine Stone Foundation and our DJs, playing vintage R&B and 60s Soul, Ska and Reggae.
Plenty of hotel rooms at all prices are available within easy travelling distance of the venue: click here.
