FESTIVAL TIMINGS

Q: What are the opening times for each day?
A: Friday 6th: Wristband exchange from 3pm / Doors open at 5pm / Live music from 6pm / Venue closes at 12 midnight / Saturday 7th: Wristband exchange from 11am / Doors open at 1pm / Live music from 1:15pm / Venue closes at 12 midnight / Sunday 8th: Wristband exchange from 11am / Doors open at 1pm / Live music from 1:15pm / Venue closes at 11pm.

Q: How long do bands play for?
A: Unlike at most festivals, almost everyone will be playing their full set, just as they would if you saw them at their own gig. This will be up to 90 minutes for the headline acts.

Q: What time do the last bands finish?
A: On the Friday, the last act on is The Men They Couldn’t Hang in the Main Hall, and they finish at roughly 23.15. On Saturday, Geno Washington & The Ram Jam Band will finish at approx. 23:30. On Sunday, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel close proceedings and should be off stage by 10pm. Wendy May, the DJ will close the show with records for 15-30 mins each night…

Q: Why aren’t the headline acts playing last?
A: We understand that people will be coming to the show by public transport, and as the last trains leave Margate railway station at around 10pm, we have scheduled our three headline acts (Lindisfarne on Friday; Wilko Johnson on Saturday, and Steve Harley on Sunday) to finish by 9:30pm. So as not to disappoint everyone who doesn’t have to leave, we’ve scheduled great acts to follow on Friday and Saturday…

Q: Are seats available or is it standing only?
A: We are planning a music festival-style layout (standing with some seats) but there will be a good number of seats available in both main halls and in the bars. If you need to sit down and you can’t find a seat, please see one of the stewards or security staff who will be able to assist you.

Q: What are the opening times for each day?
